DR VISHWAJEET RANA
Managing Director
Dr Rana completed an MBA from Ohio University and gained an MS and PhD from Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr Rana has executed a number of complex cross-border equity/debt-structured investments and financing transactions in the UK, Canada, Australia, South Africa and Hong Kong while working at HSBC’s New York office. He enjoys evaluating different global education models and applying them to unlock the potential of students through Higher Education.

GARY CALLAGHAN
Head of Operations – Apprenticeships
POL (Professional in Outdoor Learning)
Gary has been working in the Apprenticeship Sector for over 10 years in Management, Assessing and Quality Assurance roles. He has experience in a wide range of sectors including Hospitality and Management.
Gary has a passion for Outdoor Education and learning has just become a Chartered Professional in Outdoor Learning. This passion has led Gary to oversee the launch of DA Outdoors, our new brand focusing on Outdoor Apprenticeships including the Outdoor Activity Instructor, Community Activator Coach and Event Assistant Apprenticeships.
Currently Gary is involved with consulting roles and is currently working on the development of the new outdoor learning specialist Apprenticeship with the Institute of Outdoor Learning and is a volunteer Curriculum Advisor with the Scouts.

Molly Cooper

Professional In Outdoor Learning
Molly has over 10 years’ experience in the sport and leisure industry, with a specialism in the outdoor adventure sector. Her passion for developing and supporting individuals through outdoor learning is what encouraged her to transition to the education sector. Molly is currently training to achieve her assessor’s award and is looking forward to supporting her learners to develop and progress with their studies and achieve their goals. When Molly is not working she enjoys participating in outdoor activities, such as kayaking, canoeing, and hiking.

SAM NORTHWOOD
Tutor/Assessor/IQA
Sam has been supporting work-based learners and apprentices for over 10 years. She began her teaching career, delivering IT skills to new recruits in the Army. She has worked and taught in various sectors including Housing, Management, Health and Social Care, Digital Skills and Quality Compliance.
Outside of work, Sam is a Group Scout Leader and enjoys walking and crafts like card making and crocheting.

Simon Goulding
Tutor/Assessor
Simon brings a wealth of experience from the hospitality and care sectors. He has run events in large hotels and festivals but has also delivered Health and Social Care training during his time as an Assessor. Simon has also taught within the licensing sector delivering the APLH course, as well as the mandatory skills required for care workers. He has run his own businesses and, since passing his AET and TAQA awards, now enjoys passing on this knowledge to the apprentices within these industries.
