LORNA CARTER-BLAKE

Managing Director

QTLS CIHM

After working in education for over 15 years, Lorna decided to use her wealth of knowledge and skills in the sector to set up her own training centre. As a qualified teacher and business owner, Lorna understands the needs of businesses to balance training and working to support a positive work based learning program.
Lorna specialises in the Housing, Teacher Training and Enterprise.

When Lorna is not managing the centre or providing consultancy, she enjoys travelling, live music and going to the theatre.

MICHAEL BRIDGES

Operations Director

MIFL CERT ED BA (HONS) IN POST-COMPULSORY EDUCATION AND TRAINING

For the past 30 years Michael has taught and worked in various sectors including Hospitality, Retail Management, Sales, Military, Driving Instruction and in the last 5 years, Education. Michael is a qualified teacher and has a degree in Education and Training.
Michael specialises in Management, ICT, Digital Marketing, Enterprise, Functional Skills and Personal Licence.

When Michael is not managing the centre or teaching, he enjoys running and going to the cinema.

GARY CALLAGHAN

Compliance Director

Gary has been working in the Apprenticeship Sector for over 5 years in Management, Assessing and Quality Assurance roles. He has experience in various sectors including Hospitality, Management, Customer Service and Functional Skills.
He also has experience in developing bespoke training resources and delivering group training sessions.
Gary has recently passed his training modules to become an Assistant Section Leader with a local Scout Troop. Gary is also a keen Golfer and Cricketer.

DAVE BARGROVE

Operations Manager

Dave has been working in the Apprenticeship and Traineeship sector since 2011 delivering Multi Sector NVQs as an Assessor and then Employability Skills and Functional Skills within Traineeships. He has experience within several sectors including Hospitality, Management, Customer Service, Warehousing and Functional Skills.
Dave also has experience in designing and delivering bespoke training for different types of groups and companies.
Dave enjoys spending time with his family and studies Martial Arts. He also gets involved in fundraising work for charity.

JAMIE WEBBER

Business Development Coordinator

Jamie has been working in the Training and Development sector since 2015. During this time he has gained experience in Traineeships, Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning.
Jamie has a strong sales background and has worked in multi industries such as Recruitment, Estate Agency, Hospitality, Retail and Customer Services. He has also achieved his IAG Level 2 Qualification.

Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and friends and watching and playing sports.

WILL ROCKETT

Digital Marketing Apprentice

Will studied Media Studies and English Language at A-level and has since decided to undertake an apprenticeship here at DA Training and Consultancy.
He’s using his current passion and skills in media to complete an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing and further his knowledge. His current roles include:
• Management of social media
• Producing marketing material
• Website management

In his spare time, Will is a keen sports fan and enjoys Football and American Football.
