DA Training and Consultancy are a national training and consultancy centre based in Eastleigh that are accredited to deliver a wide range of qualifications and courses to meet the business needs of today and the future.

We specialise in the Business Administration, Customer Service, ICT, Housing, Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing and Team Leading sectors. We are excited to announce that we have funding available for Apprenticeships in these sectors.

Our team of tutors, teachers and assessors are dynamic and use the most up to date methods of teaching and assessment to deliver diverse and engaging training. All of the team are specialists in electronic evidence collection.

Our History, Vision and Mission

The History of DA Training

I want to take you back 6 years to the beginning of DA Training. Lorna was enjoying being a new mum to a 6-month-old baby, pregnant and on maternity leave. Life was really rosy, and she was very excited about the future for her expanding family. She was then abruptly made redundant and life became very scary. She suddenly was worried about how her family would manage financially, and about her career – what was she going to do, what was her next step – so many questions and no answers.

Now Lorna is a ‘my glass is half full’ kind of person and knew deep down she would be able to turn this situation into a positive. She had worked in education and training for many years and had always dreamed of owning her own training centre. Like a lot of people, she wanted to take that leap of faith into self-employment, she wanted to follow her dreams, she wanted to have a bigger part in the education arena, she also wanted the security that employment brings – a salary, holidays, working 9-5pm. Now that security blanket was taken away from her, the excuses melted away and she had the freedom (which was still scary) to be able to follow her dreams and continue her passion for education. Lorna took this as a golden opportunity that had been handed to her. At the time, it didn’t feel quite like that but it certainly does now.

DA Training was then born on her dining room table. Within a few months she had her 2nd child and within a few weeks after that secured her first clients. DA Training was off the ground and operational. Fast forward 6 years and the team have grown to 12, we deliver qualifications across the country. We have helped, guided, supported (and sometimes nagged) our learners into achieving thousands of qualifications in that time. Over time Lorna got evicted from her dining room table by her children and have since moved to bigger offices 3 times as DA Training has expanded and blossomed into the centre it is today.

Lorna is so passionate about learning, development and education. She has learnt so much over the last 6 years about running a business – the highs and the pitfalls, sometimes learning things she didn’t even know she needed to know. As the DA  team, we are truly proud that so many companies trust us, our team and DA Training to work with them to improve the education of their staff, improve the job prospects of their staff, nurture, support, guide and care for them during their learning journey to achievement.
